ENTRANT WAIVER & FUND-RAISING AGREEMENT Please accept my entry into the 2010 Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle benefiting Best Buddies International. I look forward to participating in the Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle(hereinafter "Event") to raise funds and awareness for Best Buddies and its programs for people with intellectual disabilities. My acceptance as noted below will confirm that I am 18 years or older and have read and understand the following. By selecting the "I agree" option below, I agree to the terms outlined herein. I understand that my credit card will be charged now for the non-refundable registration fee of $50, and I further agree that my credit card will be charged (on the respective “Charge Date” indicated below) for any balances due on my fundraising commitment, unless I notify Best Buddies within seven (7) days of my registration of my desire to withdraw from the Event. The Charge Date for my remaining pledge balance due will be August 25, 2010, on the understanding that I can receive a reimbursement, up to the amount that has been on my credit card, for additional funds I raise (after the Charge Date) up until October 15, 2010. I assume all responsibility for injuries and damages that may result as an active entrant in this athletic Event. As a condition of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, release, exempt and discharge Best Buddies International, Inc., Event sponsors, Event subcontractors, Event staff, Event volunteers, and cities/towns/municipalities through which the Event passes and properties on which Event festivities will take place from all claims, damages and courses of action, present or future, whether they result from, arise out of or are incident to my participation in the Event. I certify that I am physically fit, will have trained sufficiently for the Event, and will abide by all traffic and Event rules. I also grant permission for the use of my name and/or photographs in press releases, kits, media broadcasts or any other public relations account of the Event.
